Using Different Poker Table Images to Win

Early in your Poker career, you will realize the importance of table image, as this will be emphasized in a lot of the guides that you will read. However, it is not merely a matter of playing style; by learning and using the myriad types, you can make a lot of money out of it.

Before you can use the different types of Poker table images, you must understand that the image is just that; an image that you will project to the rest of the players on a table. It does not mean that you will play that way for the rest of that session; it is simply a personality you will embed early so that your opponents will categorize you as such.

Second, if you are going to use a Poker table image, it is extremely important that you only attempt it against skilled players. The reason is that most of the rookies and tourists will have no idea of what you are trying to do.

Once you accomplish this, players will be more likely to play marginal hands against you, and call your bets. This will be a great time for you to revert back to playing a more tight game, and by being selective with your hands, you will make more profits, as your opponents will continue to call your wagers.

The most profitable types of table image to use are maniacs and loose players. By projecting these Poker table images early in the game, you will be able to convince the rest of the players that that is how you play.

Thinking that you are easy prey, they will call and raise whatever you hold, and once you play back your usual game, this will translate into more money.
